Healthcare Data Sourcing, Verification & Privacy
Reliable healthcare data starts with knowing where it comes from, how it is verified, and how it is maintained. At MedicoLeads, we build B2B healthcare contact data from documented professional and organizational sources, then apply multiple validation and quality checks before records are made available.
Our process is designed to help businesses understand the origin, quality, freshness, and responsible use of the data they work with. From source evaluation and cross-source verification to ongoing refreshes and suppression controls, each stage is built around data quality and privacy.

What We Don't Collect
MedicoLeads focuses on B2B healthcare business and professional data. We do not collect or sell:
What a Record Contains
Records describe a professional in their work role and the organization they work for. Depending on the dataset, fields include:
7-Tier Verification for Higher Data Confidence
Every record passes seven checks before it is published. A record that fails any tier is held back from counts, searches and deliveries until it passes.
01 Source & Intake Review
Source rights, collection method and jurisdiction are checked.
02 Contact & Field Validation
Emails, phones, names, titles and addresses are standardized.
03 Duplicate & Record Matching
Variants are merged into one master record per person.
04 Cross-Source Verification
Key fields must agree across independent sources.
05 Email & Phone Validation
Mail server and phone line checks. No test email is sent.
06 Human Quality Review
Analysts hand-verify samples from each batch.
07 Final Quality & Suppression
Opt-outs and do-not-contact lists are applied before release.
A 45-Day Refresh Cycle
Healthcare professionals change roles, practices and affiliations regularly, so the database is revalidated on a fixed cycle.
Full database revalidation. Records that no longer pass are withheld until corrected.
Role and affiliation changes found by our research team are updated between cycles.
Suppression and opt-out lists are applied again before data reaches a customer.
Data Provenance: Transparency You Can Trust
We keep source and validation information for every record: where it was found, when it was collected and how it was checked.
That lets our team trace the origin of any field, judge its reliability, and answer questions from customers or from the professionals themselves.
Each record's history may include
- Source category
- Collection or observation date
- Validation status
- Last verification activity
- Attributes being validated
- Geographic or organizational context
How We Measure Accuracy
We publish each benchmark with the way it is measured, so you know what the number means and what it does not.
Contact Data Accuracy
Measured across multiple datasets and samples, not a single campaign. Combines automated verification with analyst review. Results vary by geography, specialty and data type.
Email Deliverability
Share of delivered emails without a hard bounce. It also depends on the sender’s domain reputation, SPF, DKIM and DMARC setup, and message content.

Data Sourcing & Privacy FAQs
Where does MedicoLeads healthcare data come from?
From five source classes: public professional and organization information, licensed healthcare data partners, validation and enrichment partners, our in-house research team, and opt-in partner channels. Each record is corroborated across sources before it is published.
Do you collect patient data or protected health information?
No. MedicoLeads provides B2B contact data about healthcare professionals and organizations in their work roles. We do not collect patient records, clinical data or PHI.
How is the 95% accuracy figure calculated?
It is measured across multiple datasets and samples rather than a single record or campaign, and reflects ongoing quality processes. Results vary by geography, specialty, role and data type.
What happens to records that fail verification?
They are withheld from the published database, counts and deliveries, and are retested at the next refresh cycle. Records that keep failing are retired.
Do you send test emails to verify addresses?
No. Email checks stop at the mail server level and close the connection before any message is sent, so no one receives a test email from us.
Why is email deliverability (85%) lower than contact accuracy (95%)?
Accuracy tells you the information we supplied is correct. Deliverability tells you whether a specific message landed, which also depends on your sending domain’s reputation, SPF, DKIM and DMARC setup, and your message content.
How often is the database updated?
The full database is revalidated every 45 days, role and affiliation changes are updated between cycles, and suppression lists are applied before every delivery.
How can I remove my information or opt out?
Use the Privacy Center or the Do Not Sell My Data page. Once your request is verified, your record is removed and suppressed so it is not re-added from another source.
Can I review a sample before purchasing?
Yes. We provide a sample matched to your target segment so you can check the fields, formatting and quality before you buy.
